Great cheap investment.

I have a 99 Audi A8 and I swapped out the stock shocks for H&R coilovers. Much to my disappointment, the coilovers soon began squeaking over low speed bumps, and there developed a distinct and loud popping sound when I would turn into parking spaces or during other low speed turning maneuvers. I learned that this was because the springs wind up, or turn, as they are compressed. Thus the squeaking was the spring digging into the lower spring mount/perch and spinning the top rubber spring mount around the shock mounting bracket, and the popping was from lower force situations where the spring would bind up and chatter along the lower perch as it wound and unwound. The thrust sheets, which I only used at the bottom of the spring due to the design of my coilovers, completely eliminated the squeaking and reduced the popping by 99%. Now I have the nice, lowered, noise free (I replaced all the control arms before doing the coilovers) suspension I invested in, all thanks to these awesome little thrust washers. I wish I had just put them on to begin with, but they were still well worth the 3 to 4 hours it took to install them because the overall enjoyment of my car has increased remarkably since installing these.

Spring bind on cheap coils cure

Current set up : 2006 Acura rsx on a set of tein street advance coilover, with that coil you have to reused your own top hat. Because it’s not an enclosed unit with a cheap plastic barring all the weight is causing the spring to not turn freely .I had a serious case of spring bind. When turning the steering wheel at low speed the pinging was so loud.

I came a cross thrust sheets in a random form so I decided to get a set (70”) and HOLLY SHI***** what a difference. I would say this fixed 80-85% of the usual noise and is a pretty cheap fix. Highly recommend

This is the fourth email I’ve received from your company with regard to an evaluation of the product I purchased. I have not installed yet but I’m tired to get this email I’m writing this. As soon as I get it installed and evaluated, you’ll be the first to know.

Small component w/ big benefits

Recently installed a set of Ohlins DFV on my 17 WRX (excellent product btw). Installed a pair of these thrust sheets at the top and bottom of each spring. It's apparent when setting the preload on the Ohlins that these sheets are going to reduce NVH and allow smoother operation. So far so good, at low speed this set up produces less noise than the OE parts. Kamispeed seems to offer the best online price for this little upgrade :-)

Swift thrust sheet

First of all, we run a mud bogger with a coilover front setup, we were having trouble with the shock thrust bearings locking up after 2 runs in the mud, these seem to have taken care of that, will let you know more at end of season. Good people to do business with.
