The HDPE rotomolded air box uses the factory air duct and seals for optimal airflow and heat-soak reduction. Custom molded 4-ply silicone enables all components to be securely fastened without obstructing airflow. Our FK8 Civic Type-R High Volume Intake system uses a 6" cone filter and billet 2-piece MAF housing with velocity stack(s) to allow maximum airflow while delivering proper fuel trims. Our engineers were able to profile the volute and place the MAF sensor flange in the ideal location to help keep fuel trims incredibly stable. The Race MAF housing option is the largest MAF housing on the market, rated at 600+ horsepower, and offers a 47% increase in airflow volume over the factory MAF housing or "Street" HVI MAF. This is more specifically designed for users aiming to make over 450 horsepower and will require a calibration/MAF scaling.

Was shipped on time and arrived quickly!!
This PRL High Volume Intake is one of the best intake for FK8 CTR because it is no tune required and it uses stock calibration. The installation guideline book is included in the package with nice color picture and detail steps. You will only get better quality, louder-spooky sound, and impressive looking. If you tune it with OTS map, e-tune, or pro-tune, you'll definitely get more air flow to smooth out low end to mid end of turbo spoon. Any PRL products are the best with Hondata. It took little bit long to get my order because of a lot of people ordered this intake but customer service at kamispeed is great. (Civic was born to modify).
Fits good, automatic big gains over the Injen SRI I was using. No tune required and felt big gains in the mid-high rpm range.

In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail.
All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
