These HKS Super Fire Spark Plug M45i are Long Reach Types and use both Iridium and Platinum for the utmost performance for street and race applications. PERFORMANCE AND ITS EFFECT
Improvement of ignition performance
By reducing the required voltage, the ignition power is strengthened in a dilute air-fuel mixture or in a hard-to-burn environment such as under high boost. In addition, by securing the space volume around the electrodes, the combustion speed becomes faster, which leads to improvement of torque, response, and combustion efficiency.
The strength of each part has been greatly improved by selecting materials and designing new shapes. It demonstrates its original performance even in more severe combustion conditions such as continuous high load operation such as circuit driving and tuning.

- 0.6mm iridium alloy center electrode Uses an iridium alloy center electrode
- that reduces the required voltage and has excellent durability while improving ignitability.
- Ground electrode with platinum square tip Abrasion resistance is improved and ignition resistance is improved by combining with the iridium alloy center electrode. In addition, the tip can be shortened to secure a space volume as well as a tapered shape.
Short type seismic ground electrode
By shortening the length of the electrode and optimizing the cross-sectional shape, mass reduction is realized while increasing the cross-sectional coefficient. Contributes to improving the strength and durability of the ground electrode.
Carbon deposition caused by long idling and various combustion environments such as air ratio reduces insulation and causes a misfire. By providing a thermo-edge at the tip of the insulator, minute discharges are generated and the accumulated carbon is burned off, ensuring insulation at all times.
- Auxiliary spark gap The gap between
the insulator part at the tip and the ground electrode surface is narrowed to generate an electric discharge, which suppresses carbon deposition like the Thermo edge and prevents fog and burrs.

Returns will NOT be accepted on final sales, special orders, opened, installed, incomplete, or otherwise used products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail.
All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
