Single Tube Damper Design

The new HIPERMAX S Series continues to utilize a single-tube damper design, a proven structure that separates the gas and oil chambers for enhanced performance. This configuration allows for the use of a large-diameter piston, which significantly improves the stability and consistency of damping force.
By maintaining optimal pressure balance within the damper, the HIPERMAX S delivers refined ride quality and superior control, whether on the street or during spirited driving. The result is a suspension system that offers both comfort and precision, embodying the next evolution of HKS's suspension technology.
Inverted Shock Absorber (Strut)
- Large lateral forces are distributed across a larger area, enhancing rigidity under high loads or with larger wheels.
- The damper is attached to the body side, which reduces un-sprung weight and improves handling.
Dual PVS
- The Pre-load Valve System, which was introduced in the previous MAX IV GT 20 Spec models S-Style L and S-Style C, significantly improved handling performance. This system has now been further enhanced with the introduction of "Dual PVS." This new feature reduces high-speed damping while minimizing unnecessary movement.
WR Needle：Wide range damping force adjustment mechanism
- The improved shape of the needle expands the oil relief channel. Each step of the 30 step adjustment is now more prominent. Having softer adjustment options gives more options for street driving.
ADVANCED BUMP RUBBER（Evolution of Bump stop rubber)
- For HIPERMAX S, a further improved “ADVANCED BUMP RUBBER” was developed which pursues further softness and also shorter variations deliver a wide range of options for a variety of cars delivers a natural and smooth experience
PNE Coating
- HKS previously introduced SNOW EDITION versions to combat corrosion head on. The result of this development was PNE coating delivering 5x better durability compared to standard galvanizing
Strengthened Rubber Upper Mount
- Strengthened rubber upper mount is able to absorb small body vibrations whilst tightening up the mount over stock. Revised cross sectional design and material composition balance comfort and performance
"KODAWARI" of Exterior
- The aluminum top mount is chamfered by machining to enhance the beauty of the product.Delivering detail and quality which was not previously available through previous printing methods

Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders over $1000 may not be able to ship to a different address not listed as the billing address or confirm payment address from the form of payment used. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $200.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.
Kami Speed serves the right to ship using an alternative method if we see it fit, in order to expedite shipping and reduce your rate depending on product value.
Processing and logistics on in stock international orders will take up to 7 business days to process & ship as sometimes we only have 1 international pickup a week.
In stock, non pre-orders or special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Pre-Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any non credit card processed order will have a 6% cancelation fee to cover the loan processing or 3rd party merchant fee. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
