The Clutch Masters FX725 is a 7.25" (184mm) Twin Disc clutch system engineered for ultimate performance in drag racing, particularly for engines and transmissions with compact bell housings. Developed from decades of drag racing expertise, the FX725 delivers exceptional power handling with minimal rotational mass, making it ideal for the track. While not primarily designed for street use, advancements in friction material have made it capable of handling occasional street driving. The FX725 offers outstanding horsepower and torque capacity while maintaining manageable pedal pressure for precise track operation.
The cover assembly of Clutch Masters FX725 and FX850 Multi-Disc Kits is precision-engineered from billet aluminum, followed by Type 3 hard anodization for enhanced durability. With approximately 25% more tensile strength than cast counterparts, our billet covers are meticulously designed to minimize weight while virtually eliminating flex. While cast or stamped units can flex up to .030", our billet covers exhibit only .003" of flex. This rigidity ensures consistent and reliable clutch engagement, with no energy wasted on cover deformation, resulting in more efficient operation and greater clamping force over the same surface area. What sets the FX725 and FX850 apart is our exclusive QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate). This innovative feature uses three spring-loaded bolts to ensure smooth and even engagement/disengagement, significantly reducing internal clutch noise and chatter by up to 50%. The QR System balances quiet, smooth operation for street driving with the high-performance demands of multi-disc race clutches, making these kits a versatile and exceptional choice for enthusiasts.
Flywheels are made for each specific application in either aluminum or steel. Our aluminum flywheels are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum to meet SFI spec 1.2 for competition in NHRA, NDRA, IDRC, IHRA, SCCA and NASA. Aluminum flywheels are Type 3 hard coat anodized to ensure their durability and performance lasts. Each aluminum flywheel includes a replaceable insert. Steel flywheels are machined from 1045 billet cores and are then black oxide treated for rust prevention.

Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders over $1000 may not be able to ship to a different address not listed as the billing address or confirm payment address from the form of payment used. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $100.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.

Processing and logistics on in stock international orders can take up to 7 business days to process & ship.
In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
