Prodcut arrived within 3days after the order. Ordered Wednesday midnight, got the product Saturday,
Now the fun part, came with everything brackets, bolts, the underpanel and intsructions in Japanese, though. But with the help of youtube videos and the pictures in the instructions. It was easy to install as long a you have the right tools, you'll need jack stands/lift, PB Blaster/wd40, breaker bar, torque wrench a;
-19mm socket, coz the front of the underpanel is held by brackets (included in the kit) which are attached to front LCA, which you torque back to 72.3 lb-ft.
-14mm socket, coz the rear of the underpanel is held by brackets (also included in the kit) which you torque back to 30lb ft
-the underpanel weighs around 9lbs/4kg, and 2mm aircraft aluminium is really thick and will not flex at all. Its spans from where your stock splash sheild starts all the way to the front sway bar. So if you have an H-brace you, it might not fit. When you install this i think your supposed to take of the stock plastic splash sheild, but i was able to install it with the underpanel, using the stock hardware. (Plus, I dont need anymore other car parts laying around in the basement or garage and it provides more coverage in the front for a more flat bottom effect).
- THE REVIEW: Yes, it does what its advertised, i have an OBD2 reader and my water temps do run 3-4 deg cooler. and my engine bay temps drop quicker as indicated by my AIT. and a boost in 1-2mpg highway speeds. Overall functional product and would recommend to other DC5 owners.
Haven't gotten around to install yet. (Winter here in MN. Come spring the baby is getting paint, lowering, and this panel) Overall experience with Kami was good. Took forever to get the panel but they let me know before they confirmed my order it was going to take a while. I emailed a few times for updates and they always responded quick. Solid company.
I bought this product to replace the stock plastic skidplate, which skid its last bottoming out in the middle of nowhere. I drive through the middle of nowhere a lot, so I figured this would be a worthwhile replacement.
Product comes with all required hardware, but be sure to brush up on your knowledge of technical Japanese beforehand so you can read the instructions. Otherwise, you'll have to make do with the pictography, which could be better laid out.
Aside from that, install is fairly simple and the product is sturdy. I didn't weigh it before installation, but it's not much heavier (if at all) than the plastic skidplate assembly. Aerodynamics appear to have improved somewhat, as I now turn about 200 RPM lower at highway speeds. I don't expect it to split in half anytime soon, either.
For many people, the stock skidplate will work for what it is, but if you and yours live where roads are paved only every other decade, it's not a bad buy by any stretch.
This bar will fit on the 2009 Ralliart with AEM box intake. Beautiful piece of work.

Returns will NOT be accepted on final sales, special orders, opened, installed, incomplete, or otherwise used products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail.
