This Clutch Line is an essential upgrade for your FA20 engine equipped with the CD009 FAVQ transmission conversion using a Tilton internal throwout/slave cylinder. Unlike typical clutch line kits that only replace the short soft section, this is a full one-piece replacement that runs directly from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder—eliminating the stock hard lines entirely. Engineered for more than just compatibility, it enhances clutch pedal feel, reduces heat soak issues, cleans up the engine bay, and provides a much sleeker aesthetic. The kit also includes the bleeder line for the Tilton slave cylinder and all necessary fittings, giving you a complete, ready-to-install solution that simplifies the system while delivering performance and durability where it counts. The FAVQ CD009 transmission conversion requires upgrading to a 3/4" master cylinder, and we've got you covered there too with our Chase Bays x Tilton Clutch Master Cylinder Adapter Kit—available [HERE]. The key difference lies in the outlet thread size: the OEM master cylinder uses M10x1.0 threads, while the Tilton uses 3/8-24. This clutch line kit includes the M10 banjo bolt for stock fitment, and if you purchase the Tilton CMC from us, we include the correct 3/8-24 banjo bolt. Just swap it in, and you're good to go—this line works perfectly with both setups. Crafted from -3AN stainless steel, this clutch line features a Teflon PTFE inner lining and a protective PVC coating, ensuring durability from master to slave cylinder. Built with DuPont’s Type 62 fine grade resin and 304 stainless steel braid, the hose boasts a massive 9000 psi burst pressure. It's also highly resistant to pretty much everything: chemicals, acids, alcohols, coolants, hydrocarbons, solvents, synthetic compounds, and hydraulic fluids. Most of those (hopefully) will never touch your clutch system—but if they do, this line can handle it.
Tilton Delay Valve / Flow Control Valve Option
Tilton’s flow control valve may look like a fairly insignificant part, but it’s actually one of the smartest purchases any racer/drifter can make. By allowing the clutch to slip slightly during quick engagements or clutch kicks, the flow control valve reduces shock loads to the driveline, lowering the chance of losing traction when downshifting and/or the chance of damaging driveline components. All of this adds up to fewer break-downs and less money spent on replacement parts, making the flow control valve a great investment regardless of the type or level of racing/drifting you do.
Shock load is a result of an abrupt clutch engagement when the crankshaft and input shaft speeds are not precisely matched. The flow control valve is designed to reduce the chance of losing traction when downshifting and/or the chance of damaging driveline components. Fluid flow is not restricted during clutch disengagement. Therefore, shift times are still quick and pedal feel is not altered. The flow control valve will have an effect on quick clutch activations only. It will not alter or interfere with fine clutch modulation. You do feel it slightly slower to come up, but again it will not effect power put to the wheels. We tested this on several of our drift builds all of 2024; our 500hp E36 and 450hp JZX100 both with R154, stock diff, and stock axles never had one break. We did NOT install this on our 410hp ZN6 with a CD00A, stock diff, and DSS 800hp axles for the first two events and BOTH events it broke an axle. We installed the Tilton Delay Valve and it's now been three events with no breaks. For ANY street, race, or drift car we build...this Tilton Flow Control Valve will now be installed on every one. This option puts the delay valve at the halfway point on the clutch lines and changes it to a two piece clutch line from the one piece as explained above. There is no guarantee placed by Chase Bays that you will not break any drivetrain related part, race cars break. But this factually reduces drivetrain shock.

Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders over $1000 may not be able to ship to a different address not listed as the billing address or confirm payment address from the form of payment used. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $200.
Delivery Inspection & Damage Claims
Large, oversized, fragile, and performance parts must be inspected immediately upon delivery and before installation. Damage, missing parts, incorrect items, or cosmetic concerns must be reported within 3 business days of delivery with photos of the product, outer box, inner packaging, and shipping label.
Please keep all packaging until the item has been fully inspected. Claims may be denied if the item has been installed, mounted, modified, test-fitted, used, reported late, or if the packaging has been discarded.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs. Refusal to pay duties/taxes fees prior to delivery will have the product sent back to us. This will be treated a standard return and all fees including original and refusal shipping fees will be deducted from original amount.
Kami Speed serves the right to ship using an alternative method if we see it fit, in order to expedite shipping and reduce your rate depending on product value.
Processing and logistics on in stock international orders will take up to 7 business days to process & ship as sometimes we only have 1 international pickup a week.
In stock, non pre-orders or special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.

Any loan orders will have a 10% cancelation fee to cover the loan processing fees or 3rd party merchant fees. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
