Alpha Series Rods are manufactured from two-piece forgings, optimizing grain orientation along the rod cap to bolster strength. By aligning the metal's grain with the direction of stress along the rod cap (perpendicular to the beam's stress), Skunk2 significantly enhances strength. This two-piece forging process ensures a precision-tight fit between the rod's cap and beam without resorting to brittle materials used in other methods. Additionally, Alpha Series Rods incorporate dual oil passages at their pin ends, enhancing lubrication and cooling for added strength and durability. These bolts are forged, heat-treated, and precision-machined, capable of withstanding clamping loads as high as 220,000 psi. Furthermore, precision-machined bronze wrist pin bushings are installed on each Alpha Series Rod to enhance wear resistance and compatibility with most aftermarket pistons, eliminating the need for additional machining. Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders over $1000 may not be able to ship to a different address not listed as the billing address or confirm payment address from the form of payment used. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $200.
Delivery Inspection & Damage Claims
Large, oversized, fragile, and performance parts must be inspected immediately upon delivery and before installation. Damage, missing parts, incorrect items, or cosmetic concerns must be reported within 3 business days of delivery with photos of the product, outer box, inner packaging, and shipping label.
Please keep all packaging until the item has been fully inspected. Claims may be denied if the item has been installed, mounted, modified, test-fitted, used, reported late, or if the packaging has been discarded.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs. Refusal to pay duties/taxes fees prior to delivery will have the product sent back to us. This will be treated a standard return and all fees including original and refusal shipping fees will be deducted from original amount.

Processing and logistics on in stock international orders will take up to 7 business days to process & ship as sometimes we only have 1 international pickup a week.
In stock, non pre-orders or special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.

Any loan orders will have a 10% cancelation fee to cover the loan processing fees or 3rd party merchant fees. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
