The Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 have a strong lineage built on navigating corners with smooth drifts and speeding down gravel forest roads in pursuit of fast sector times. However, despite this heritage, both the BRZ and GR86 need some enhancements to meet modern performance demands. The stock oil cooling system in the FA24 engine utilizes a liquid-to-liquid cooler that transfers heat from the oil to the engine coolant. This presents a problem because the coolant is responsible for cooling both the engine and the oil. When pushing the car hard for 20 minutes—revving high and sliding sideways—airflow through the radiator is minimized while heat buildup reaches its peak. The solution is to install a supplemental cooler dedicated solely to cooling the engine oil. Fortunately, we’ve developed such a solution.
This Mishimoto performance oil cooler kit for your 2022+ Subaru BRZ or Toyota GR86 adds a robust 19-row external oil cooler to the otherwise anemic stock system. This cooler takes the load off your engine coolant and adds 0.75 quarts of oil to the system for even greater cooling and lubricating performance. In thermostatic spec, this kit eliminates the liquid-to-liquid cooler, reducing failure points and allowing each system to operate completely independently for maximum performance. For dedicated race cars that need full cooling, right away, the non-thermostatic option retains the stock cooler to help get oil temps and viscosity in operating range fast. Our direct-fit mounting bracket places the oil cooler front and center in the grille for maximum airflow, while the -10AN braided-steel lines ensure constant flow through the system. The included heat shielding sleeve adds another layer of protection against abrasion while keeping engine bay heat out of the oil. This performance oil cooler kit includes everything you need for installation, so you can get your 2022+ BRZ or GR86 back on the street or track in no time. Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders over $1000 may not be able to ship to a different address not listed as the billing address or confirm payment address from the form of payment used. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $200.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.
Kami Speed serves the right to ship using an alternative method if we see it fit, in order to expedite shipping and reduce your rate depending on product value.
Processing and logistics on in stock international orders will take up to 7 business days to process & ship as sometimes we only have 1 international pickup a week.
In stock, non pre-orders or special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Pre-Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any non credit card processed order will have a 6% cancelation fee to cover the loan processing or 3rd party merchant fee. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
