About This Item
A GrimmSpeed Top Mount Intercooler Kit, with cast aluminum end tanks, a massive bar and plate core, and TIG welded construction, can take the place of that undersized, plastic factory intercooler. The factory FA20dit TMIC is suitable for stock applications, however as boost levels are raised, pre-detonation (or "knock") and power loss are caused by the higher post-turbo air temperatures. The GrimmSpeed intercooler is made to maintain constant charge temperatures under challenging driving conditions so that the rest of your engine's components can continue to produce power.

The 2015–21 WRX fitment is no exception to the GrimmSpeed engineering team's tradition of creating the highest-performing Top Mount Intercoolers currently on the market. As performance and fitment continued to be improved, this intercooler spent more than a year in testing and adjustment. A correctly sized intercooler assembly, a unique 5-ply silicone throttle body coupler, and high-torque stainless steel clamps are all included in the GrimmSpeed kit. Each kit also comes with our special two-piece splitter design, which swaps the factory engine cover for a splitter engineered to match the GrimmSpeed TMIC's larger core. The performance of any Top Mount Intercooler is only as good as the splitter that's directing air through the core and in this area especially, the GrimmSpeed team nailed it.

Return & Cancelation Policy
In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on final sales, special orders, opened, installed, incomplete, or otherwise used products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail.
All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
