We have less valve distortion at the face with the materials we are using than any of the evaluated designs. Less distortion enables more reliable performance over the course of the valve's life and better sealing under challenging circumstances. It is not mandatory, but it is suggested, that any valve lock not be reused on performance applications due to material grooving\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eValve tip lengths - we have taken extra time to adjust tip heights on this application to require less tipping of the valve to maintain proper tip height for proper valve train geometry and to cut down on install times when setting valve lash. The GSC2056-01, and GSC2056-12 valve protrusion has been shortened by .15mm to reduce the need to tip the valves on cylinder heads that are receiving a valve job.
