Perrin 15-17 WRX FMIC Boost Tube Box w/ Black Boost Tubes and Black Couplers (perPSP-ITR-437-2BK/BK)
A high-performance air-to-air intercooler is essential for any turbocharged engine that wants to gain more power. In the simplest terms, this component transfers surplus heat through various passageways through a core to cool the air coming from the turbo into your engine, much like a radiator cools the water inside the engine. Your Subaru's front can be simply equipped with a PERRIN intercooler to increase cooling.
Boost Tubes - A smooth offset coupler takes the hot side air charge directly from the turbo to a precisely matched 2.25" boost tube. The air charge is then routed through the engine bay next to the battery, and down behind the radiator to the intercooler. The cold side boost tubes are mounted as high as possible in the engine compartment to clear all turbo and intake combinations as it travels to the throttle body through the engine bay. We chose 2.25" tubing for a smoother, cleaner, obstruction-free routing while still being large enough to flow more WHP than most turbos can put out.
Washer Tank - A PERRIN Washer Fluid Tank is included with the PERRIN Boost Tube Kit. The OEM tank doesn't fit in the space needed because of the way the boost tubes are connected to the intercooler. The PERRIN Washer Fluid Tank has a black powder coating finish that shields it from the outdoors.
Coolant Overflow Tank - A PERRIN Coolant Overflow Tank is included in the PERRIN Boost Tube Kit. It stores more coolant than prior designs, increases room for improved boost tube routing, and utilizes the OEM tank lid for an excellent seal! A powder coating with a black texture protects the PERRIN Coolant Overflow Tank from the weather.
Construction - For improved weight reduction, PERRIN Boost Tubes are CNC mandrels bent from aluminum tubes. To guarantee that the hose clamps and couplers stay attached and sealed, every boost tube has an enlarged beaded end. To transport air to and from the intercooler, we decide to follow the shortest, smoothest route possible.
Finish - Each PERRIN Boost Tube is powder coated for additional weather resistance and to maintain its great appearance for many years. We offer two different finish options for our boost tubes: texture powder coated black and texture powder coated red.

All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.

In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
